Delete your ShotX account
You can request deletion of your ShotX account even if ShotX is no longer installed. ShotX is a product of KOPSY Group LLP.
Without the app
Email us to begin. We will respond with a way to verify that you control the Google account linked to ShotX before deleting its server registration and requesting deletion of its subscription-service customer record.
Do not email passwords, sign-in credentials, private media, OCR text or Secure Vault files. An email request starts the process; it does not by itself prove account ownership.
In the app
Open Profile → Account & Security → Delete ShotX account. The app asks you to confirm the connected Google account and re-verify the Play-installed device.
What deletion affects
- ShotX removes its server device binding and short-lived security records after authenticated deletion. Pseudonymous trial-use records may remain for up to 365 days after a trial starts to prevent repeat trials.
- ShotX requests deletion of the corresponding subscription-service customer record. The provider processes that request asynchronously.
- Your Google account is not deleted. Google Play subscriptions are not canceled and billing can continue until you cancel in Google Play.
- Private captures, scans, OCR text and Secure Vault content already stored on your device remain there. Shared or exported copies also remain wherever you sent them.
Manage Google Play subscriptions. To remove local ShotX content, use Android Settings → ShotX → Storage → Clear storage on that device; this is a separate irreversible action and also removes Secure Vault keys.
